Really like the app so far

Write an Apple TV App. Please? As a Sonos user and lover Id like that too but the Apple TV offers a great work around. Not sure if its in the works but it is definitely the one App Im missing horribly bad. **Sonos?** **Apple TV** ARE YOU LISTENING?

Tired of apples meager offering this was the best Ive used. UI is a pleasure. Extra features arent hidden behind paywall (though optional patronage is nice for those who use a lot). A lot of nice extras that make listening a pleasure. Organizational structure is a dozen times better than apples podcast app. Only things I wish were fixed were if you search for a topic and join a podcast in those results, you have to re search the term to subscribe to others in those results. Like sports for example. Constantly retyping sports to subscribe to 3-4 in the same list. Also I wish the subscribe to new podcast storefront (or whatever you call it) just had more variety or was presented better. I just dont like it and it seems to be the same ones always. Would like a top 10 or popular this week and stuff like that. But this is nitpicking. Great app. Great!

Wont open

Easy to use, and Im able to just set it and forget it. The app downloads, saves and plays episodes exactly as expected with no annoying splash promo pages. Many thanks to the creators.

There are a ton more playback options. The interface is simple which is all it needs to be to play back podcasts. Best of all its not a battery hog like the stock app.

Overcast is, arguably, the best podcast app. Its at least the best app Ive used. Its easy and intuitive. And I personally dont mind becoming a patron.

This is by far the best podcatcher for iOS. The audio features that Marco has implemented are best in class. The ability to remove silence and smartly increase the speed of the podcast is a must for any podcast fan with a list of episodes to get through. I highly recommend you download the app and consider becoming a patron.

Im a super fan of this app, especially its audio enhancement features that other podcast clients will try and imitate. The Smart Speed and Voice Boast alone were worth the in-app purchase, but now Marco has made all features free with the option to gift him $.99 a month. Wow! This is the best app. I own 4 and keep coming back to this one.

The only hurdle to getting this app was my mind and having to re-subscribe to all my podcasts because Apples podcast app doesnt have such functionality (this does not surprise me in the least). Any issues I have are little nits. But overall, its the top of the heap. Theres a reason so many shows mention the apps "recommended" (an episode) feature. The app is that popular, and for good reason.

I like how it offers a lot more customization than the native iPhone podcast app

By far the best podcast app for iPhone. Smart Speed is awesome. The detailed controls and everything you get for free is impressive. I did a 3 month buy to try dark mode. I really like it but dont know that Ill continue to pay just for that feature. Will continue to use this as my only podcast app. Thanks Marco!

This app is NOT an improvement over the iOS podcast app. It doesnt work properly with CarPlay and all my other CarPlay apps work fine. This issue has been since the app was first release. Paid 12 bucks which I dont mind but this app doesnt live up to the hype.

The smart speed and voice boost are amazing! Other recent improvements like dark mode are really great too. Streaming was a feature I really wanted and I am very excited to now have it! Now if only I could choose download or stream as a per podcast option.

Excellent app. Recommend Try out the speed up option. Some pod casts are interesting but the host or guest will talk sooooo slowly. This makes the whole thing go so much more quickly. Great ideas in this app.

Theres a trend towards apps that do just enough to get the job done and then stop. Its a response to the over-engineered app that does everything, but its rarely the right answer. The right answer is what Overcast does: put in the right features and the right settings and let the user get used to that way of working. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into what was chosen for the feature set here because I find myself using most of the features and settings but not wanting much more. Its a great choice and the cloud sync and web playback is an absolutely fantastic addition.

This is by far the best podcast app I have used. I have been listening to podcasts from almost the time they came into existence and have finally settled on this app because it has all the features I need. The best feature is the ability to speed up playback. I typically listen news and politics at 1.5x speed and the playback is flawless. It doesnt feel a whole lot faster but Im able to imbibe more content in less time. The podcast and playlist management utilities are also top notch. While the app is free I went ahead and became a patron because I use it so much.
