Much easier to use than Apples podcast app. Lots of useful features like smart speed.

Ive used quite a lot of podcast apps but this is the simplest and just the best app. Love the voice booster and smart speed. Keep up the good work!!

Slow speed effect is very cool

This app has all Ive ever wanted to manage and listen to podcasts. It lets you fine tune settings per podcast or globally, choose whether you want to receive notifications (also per podcast or globally), and more. It also has a very good "smart speed" feature, to automatically adjust playback speed and remove silences - a godsend for talk podcasts. Best of all, its free with optional donations! I ditched the default podcast app and havent looked back since I got this one.

I bought this when it was first introduced (along with a few competitors) and this is what I still use. It IS smart and it IS easy to use.

Its been a long wait but Im glad Marco (the developer) took his time to release it. It looks very polished with neat ideas and I recommend this to everyone whos into listening podcasts. Ill not be unlocking everything right now because there is no iPad version, but Ill do it as soon as there is.

Ive been using the stock podcasts app for the last few years without checking out other ones. After all, it "did the job". Boy, was I ever right! But after discovering Overcast on Reddit, I realized I was immensely underestimating the job of playing podcasts. Overcast opens up whole new functions that are life saving. Smart speed and voice boost are amazing and the offering everything for free in the 2.0 version was a very smart move. I liked the app so much, I became a 6 month patron on the first day. Keep up the good work!! Love it!

Simple to use and better than not only the podcast apps but many more apps in general. Attention to detail and user experience is unmatched. Do not believe me? Just look at the visualizer on the pause bars. Brilliant.

Clean User interface was definitely great to have but the amazing "Smart Speed" that skips silences changed the game! I even started uploading my audiobooks to get 20 mins back for ever hour I listen without losing any quality on understability.

I’ve been using Instacast for a while. I tried Overcast and it turned out that I like it a lot more. I’m staying with this great app. Good job Marco !!!
