Syncing Has Never Worked

Overcast is a very good podcast app if you have only one iOS device. However, sync has never worked reliably. You press pause in Overcast, lock up your iPad at work, get in your car, open Overcast on your iPhone, and … nothing. The podcast plays from the beginning, not where you left off. Podcasts you finished or deleted on up your iPad are still on your iPhone.

We live in a multi-device world. I suspect the average Overcast user has at least two iOS devices. The beauty of iOS is that you dont have to pay per user licenses. Apple encourages you to buy a device for each location you spend a lot of time. This beautiful multi-device world only works with sync.
